About Skin Care Ready

Skin Care Ready is an independent UK site run by John Platt, part of the same small group as PowerCutReady and BrewReady. No brand pays for placement and nothing is sponsored.

How products are chosen

1. Ingredient first. We start from what an active needs to work — concentration, form, packaging, pH — and shortlist products that meet it.
2. Published evidence. Claims are checked against dermatology sources (British Association of Dermatologists, peer-reviewed reviews), not marketing copy.
3. UK availability and price. Only products you can actually buy here; prices are checked live on Amazon rather than quoted on-page.

What we won't do

Invent test results, claim a cosmetic treats a medical condition, or quote a price we can't keep current.
